GAP YEAR

A gap year is a period of time that people uses for their own things: learn anoter language, relax, work in another country or travel.
Usually this time for people is between high school and college. 

The gap year started in sixties and now is common in a student life.

In my future I won't spent one year travelling or relaxing. In two years I will finish batxillerat and if I can, next year I will study in Girona, something relationated with sport. And after this career I will work, if it's possible.

SCHOOL

Nowadays a big number of students don't want to study and I think that they don't study because they don't have the motivation to do that. I will give some tips that I think will make school more enjoyable.

First of all teachers have to motivate students to study and tell them the good things of studying and how it can help them in the future. For example teachers can tell students that study in not an obligation, it's good for them because they will learn useful things for their future and they pay attention to lessons they will be able to choose thier future.

Another thing that they can do is find another way to teach, a funnier way. For example in history teachers can make students work in groups or make some groups and they explain the lesson and they will learn while they do a funny and entertaining thing.
And last but not the least they can be more kinder with students especially that ones of first os ESO beacuse sometimes they can have a bad impression of the teacher which is completely different. And if the teacher is kind they will be happier and will pay more attention and participate more during the lesson.

To sum up I think that if lessons and studying are more enjoyable, students will have better marks and won't fail the same number as now. 

Curriculum

Dear Mr. Jones,

       I am writing in response to your advertisement for an assistant which appeared in The Time last week. I am interested in applying for this position.

I am 17 years old and I hope to pass a course of IT and I need 200 hours of practise. I want to earn some money because it's necessary for me. I am a good person, I have a lot of friends, I am friendly and sociable. I have been working on my parents restaurant since 8.

This positionj would help me gain valuable experience in computers, which is very useful for my course.

I am available from the begining of July to the end of August. I can come for an interview every day.

A terrible misunderstanding

One day, I was walking around Liverpool and I saw two men who were looking at me. First of all I thought they disn't want anything about me and I tirned left in the street. When was in the middle of the passage, I looked back and I saw the same men looking at me. I started walking faster and I turned into a street, the two mencontinued walking in my direction. I started running and I left the two men. I breathed deeply. I crossed the square which was in front of me and when I was in the middle, the two men pushed me to the ground, they put the handcoffs to me. I started to complain but they didn't listen to me. I turned my face to see them and when they saw who I was, started to apologize. 

It had all been a terrible missunderstanding.

MUSIC IN OUR LIFE

I thought it was going to be an ordinary day, but I was wrong. I woke up and I didn’t remember where I was. I started to walk around the strange house and I quickly remembered I was at a new friend's house. I didn’t recognize it because we arrived late the night before and everything was dark. Some light of the day was coming through the window and I saw my friends sleeping. I waited in the kitchen, my friends started waking up lazily. We felt tired and we had no plans. When all the seven friends finished breakfast, the doorbell rang.  We didn’t expect anyone. All the boys who were in the house went to the door and I opened it. A man started talking and with his words, a smile started to draw on our faces. He gave us all the machines to record our cd. We didn't waste any time and we started to record with the new objects.

It was a good experience, but it wasn’t the same for our parents who had paid all the things.

ORPHAN BLACK

This monday, our english teacher puts a chapter of Orphan black. At the beginning I didn't like this strange serie.

This chapter starts with a girl who is sleeping inside a train. When she go out of the train, she see another girl who is leaving his things in the train station and when another trains comes, she jump into the rail train. The girl catches the bag of the dead one. Sarah looks de fotos of that girl and she discovers that they seemed twins. For time, she would life her live. She go to bank and catches all her money, but there's not all great. She need to go work but she have no idea. 

The first episode is very exciting and if I have time I would see more chapters.
