THE GIANT PLANTS THAT EAT MEAT

SUMMARY:

There are too many plants that look like very attractive and simple but it can eats hundreds of insects and other animals.

Plants have sweet nectar in the cup. When animals arrive there, they start to slide into the “plant stomach”.  There, the plants have digestives juices. This kind of plants can grow to six metres long.

The carnivorous plants are also beneficial for other plants or trees. Their defecations have a big concentration of nitrogen.

PERSONAL OPINION:

I already knew that carnivorous plants exist before but I didn’t realize that they can eat rats or other animals like this. The form that they eat animals is amazing and also is similar to our stomach. I think that if one day I find one of these plants, it will eat me!

PAUL WALKER, SEE YOU AGAIN

Yesterday I realized how short and strange can be a life. I am not a big fan of Fast & Furious films, I watched one and I felt sleep during these film. But this is not important about this reflection. My girlfriend shows me a song written in remembers of Paul Walker, the main character of these films.

Fast and Furious are different films, all based on illegal street racing. Paul did all the films and never had suffered a big accident doing this. One day he was travelling with Roger Rodas to an event for Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Rodas’s car. They shocked with different trees and after the car get into flames. Paul died.

This song is See you again and when I listened for the first time it really affects me. Life is too short and we have to live it!

A LETTER TO FERRAN

Hi Ferran,

This day we are much stressed, we have a lot of exams and a lot of work to do for school. I want to remember that in two weeks we can be in holidays...

But we can meet at the weekend and have relaxed... We can go to the beach, to swim or to play volleyball; we can stay in our homes and watch TV or we can go with our friends...

What is your opinion about this? Have you another opinion or thing to do? Have you got plans for the weekend?

Don’t forget to write me soon,

David.

- But if we play football I can't play with the mobile...
- It's true you are playing with the mobile all day too...
- Yes! It's my passion!
- This is not good...
- It's funny and entertaining!
- I think you have nomofobia... You have the fear og being apart from your cell phone...
- This is not true, I don't suffer from this fear!
- When you go to sleep you keep your mobile phone with you?
- Yes...
- This is nomofobia
- Try to put it away when you go to bed and tomorrow we will go to play football.
- Ok! I will try tonight...

Dear Mr Rajoy,

If I have a good memory, I remember that Human Rights have existed for several years. In fact, there are thiry, and I think that is Spain there's minimum one that it is not applied.

In Spain, this is a current problem and there are a lot of people that have been affected. All humanity have the Right of food and shelter and now the banks are saying to people that their house it is not their house and that if they could not pay the money, thay can not stay more time in their home. It does not matter ig they have been paying for twnty years and noy they do not have a job and in consequence they do not have money. The banks quits the home.

I am writing to you, Mr Rajoy, because this is a problem that affects my family, my parents and my uncles are having a bad moment because they can not help our friends without a job...

I hope that you can do something for all people without a job or without a house.

Looking forward to your promt reply.

WHAT MONEY CAN’T BUY

All my life I have been hearing that happiness has been bought with money and now I am learning that is more valuable a gesture, for example a romantic one for your girlfriend, a simple touch of a hand or a simply look is better than a very good present. This is my point of view.

Certainly, a lot of times the richest man wins over the pretty girl. But in this relationship they are happy? The rich man can make his girl happy with presents? I think that money can’t buy love and happiness.

Obviously, everyone has a friend and more than one. The friendship can be bought with money? This is impossible. You can have friends, more or minus, but you make friends with your acts, with your personality or simply because they live in the same village or they are your neighbors but never with money.

To sum up, money can’t buy love, happiness, friends, time, and health.

HUMAN RIGHTS

Human rights are the norms or rights that people have just for the fact that are humans.

The first civilization that tried to impose the human rights was the Cyrus cylinder at the 6th century BC. The current human rights were created on 10 December 1948 in Paris, after the Second World War. The author was Eleanor Roosevelt. There are 30 Human Rights.

Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international cooperation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for his dignity and the free development of his personality.

Here, In Catalunya, the social security is able and everyone has this right. But, for example, people who participate in Nazi persecutions don’t have this right.
