SENZO MEYIWA

SUMMARY:

Senzo Meyiwa was the goalkeeper of the team of Orlando Pirates and the captain of South African national team.

Meyiwa was shot last Friday night when he was at his girlfriend’s house. They were with more friends and a thief entered in the house. The suspect murdered the captain.

The funeral took place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Meyiwa's hometown of Durban. In this funeral assisted tens of thousands of people and many of they were wearing T-shirts with a picture of Meyiwa, who was widely seen as an inspiring figure.

PERSONAL OPINION:

In my opinion it’s difficult to assimilate this kind of things. This notice shocked people around the world and I saw his funeral and it was emotive and very beautiful.
